At least this one doesn't have a cheap springed "rock band" bass drum pedal like the cheap alesis for $100 more.

Oddly they are 1080p when I upload… not sure why it’s not showing that way. I used to do 4k but it would drop it down to 1080p

Like the other guy who commented, I watched several reviews and a few from Keithron. I do hope Simmons is compensating you, and you deserve it! You've definitely sold some of these. I bought one, too. Just got it. Just set it up. Just played it. The price is all in the technology. The hardware is not meant to be taken apart once assembled; it will quickly break down. It's plastic. BUT...HEY...You want brass and steel and chrome? Then this is $3500. So, you want the sound and the drums at $800, this is great. Metal hardware would be a great upgrade to make and sell! My ONE complaint: The kick drum is quite loud in the room....plastic on plastic. The neighbors were pounding on the wall. Not a mesh kick head like the Donner I had, where the neighbors didn't hear me play. Maybe I'll try a soft mallet.
@KeithronPowell51 минут бұрын
Was about to suggest a soft mallet. If you order from the links then I’m compensated as an affiliate. Which is perfect.

Thanks! I saw the product recently & thought "That looks cool, it would be good for the little semi-acoustic house/backyard jams I go to sometimes!" but after seeing this I won't be wasting my money. I'm an old pro, think I'll stick with my Yamaha DD-65 for those.

DONT BUY ANYTHING this company makes. Look up the video that the “Guitar Geek” made on their guitar and all the nonsense they put him through. They threatened him with a law suit if he made a negative review.
@KeithronPowell50 минут бұрын
Yep, I’m surprised they haven’t come at me. The thing is I will expose every email from day one with all the dates and everything. So… maybe they realize that.
@motoknivesandgunsbyjt18 минут бұрын
@ yea man, that’s the right thing to to. They can’t monopolize the KZbin market like they want. Glad people like you are standing up to them.
@motoknivesandgunsbyjt23 сағат бұрын
If you look up reviews of their guitar, this company is mad shady. There’s a guy who they threatened to sue because they paid him to have a positive review and they wanted to review the video before he released it. I would NOT buy ANYTHING this company made. If you see any positive reviews on anything this company makes it a PAID review. Look up the video made by “The Guitargeek”

I have this set. The hat and symbals don't seem to be sensitive enough. Like you can only hit them in a 3in square and then it isn't really consistent. Is there something i can do about that?

Was latency an issue with this as well? it seems like whenever there is a wireless anything in the mix there is latency from when you hit versus when the sound plays and it makes playing at a consistent speed nearly impossible

Hey Keith love your channel, and thanks to your many videos on it I got my titan 70 a couple days ago. I've gone through a lot of the settings and have it sounding great I love it, a huge step up from my donner ded200 in every way, but the bell on the ride. Seems like theres a millimeter spot i can barely even find once let alone alternating back and forth from bell to bow where it triggers the bell and other than that it sees the whole bell as the bow. Any idea how to fix this or is something defective? Thanks in advance

Could be the cymbal itself. I’d try another module while it’s under warranty… or just buy the MC13 cymbal.

The product is a great idea. Instead of lawsuits😂, you should collaborate to help them to improve the product, fix the bugs, make different setups, it would be easy in an app, to choose your style, drum sets, etc....

Gotta say I was surprised to see them come out with these add on products. Only thing that makes no sense to me...black. I love the black as my current set is black...but all the other Simmons stuff is grey and blue, brighter blue on the new sets, the 1250 being more of a duller greyish blue hue. So a black bass drum is a little off when paired with the other Simmons stuff. They have a 10" black dual zone pad you can get, the same as the one that comes with the Titan 50. Then they have the 10" and 12" pad with the blue shell like the pads you see on the SD1250 drum sets. Don't really like the grey much...black would have been nice to see...and if they made the bass drum match the other pad's shell that would have made more sense. But being black on the bass drum makes it look less like a Simmons pad...which is nice. If I owned a Simmons set I would have preferred the bass drum pad match the color scheme of the rest of the kit. I love the cymbal pads...except for the grey...but I could probably live with that if they operate the way they should. I'm thinking about getting the ride...I've been thinking about getting a ride cymbal for a while now so I don't have to use acoustic ride...or some other pad/zone from something else to get my bell sound. I think even the most basic e-drums should have at least a bell zone on the ride...3 zones not so much...but a bow and bell...most definitely. The bell is used a lot by even the most entry level of beginner drummers, so that should be like having power steering on a car, or tires and wheels.

i got a titan 50 and these upgrades are very welcomed. the titan 50s cymbals suck. dont care they dont hold a candle to the nitro mesh and DM10 cymbals. the module and pads however are perfect. the rack and mounts suck but a used rack and stands should already be on your radar. my nitro mesh lasted me 5 years of constant abuse before i sold it to get the titan 50 a shot. that kick drum looks sweeeeeeet.
