How to import brushes to HiPaint

i hope the devs can make a way to convert procreate brushes to hbr

Brushes are abr file, hbr is exclusively for hi paint, so basically we cannot import any brushes from other apps.

I'll never understand why these apps all decide to use different brush files they must be forced to do that I have a ton of baby airbrushes but I can't use them in any Android app I found so far I guess clip Studio paint but I just wanted a simple app similar to procreate

you can make your own brushes by tapping the + sign in brushes group and select an image or your choice of brush to modify

unfortunately, I don't think we can import brushes in this app that came from a different art software because it runs in a different brush-engine. Ibispen brushes has a code to it, not sure to what kind of file it falls under, but HiPaint only accepts HBR files, I don't think Ibispaint brushes runs in HBR

It possible to scale up the brush size? 512 Px it too small when I made stamp brush the brush seam too small even though I use 100% of minimum size it need to scale up with move tool after then. it's quite inconvenient 😅

​@Stavena DS I assume PhotoShop brush files are different, (I can't remember if it's ABR files) and HiPaint (if I'm not mistaken) only accept HBR (I think the reason why we can't import PS/procreate brushes is because of the engine the app is running on) as for ibispaint, I don't think we can import it either :c

If your having prombles as when making a canvas and you dont see the drawing space then go out and re-enter it , if you have even more prombles try contacting the devs of hipaint or rating it and then saying the promble m , they might see and reply as i dont know alot about hipaint , hope it helped
