Few questions. Title says ADMX for 2019 office but admx templates only show 2016. Additionally is there a reason why group policydefinition shares are not being used for multi domain controllers? I am trying to setup gpos and I see the admx temapltes like you do however they are not applying to the end user machines.

@@TaystTheNotes I have a central store already setup. What I found was sysvol was corrupted because the dfs settings did not carry over during upgrades so sysvol was not shared. It doesn't answer original question. Are these Also the 2019 admx?

James Watson glad you got sysvol healthy. I understood the title 2019 admin templates just to mean the host operating system and title of the entire video series, not specific to MS office per se.

@@TaystTheNotes it's the same download. When I go to download the 2019 version it gets the 2016 ax like they are the same thing on Ms site. I was looking to see if they were different somehow. They list just the same.

@@MSFTWebCast Hi, yes on the Domain Controller. Both the SYSVOL\policies\policy definitions and the local C:\ one. I think a reboot maybe needed?

mostly used for managing outlook, forcing cached exchange mode or if doing mail migration need to enforce "excludelastknowngood" so client xml forgets the connection from on-prem exchange and looks to exchange online for autodiscover. lot of stuff like that.

or if in a non-persistent vdi on rdsh and people are logging in internally via vpn, it doesn't make since to cache if the profile is going to get wiped, so would set to not cache. all for flexibility really.
