Hi everyone! Let me know if you have any questions about importing reference images in the comments below! :)

Hello - great video, thanks for providing your guidance! Im able to set the horizontal distance perfectly upon importing my image and I follow your directions to scale the vertical plane of my image which works perfectly other than it rescales the horizontal plane was well (which I dont want it to do). Is there a way to just adjust the scale on the vertical plane without causing the horizontal to adjust also? Also was wondering, if I don't have a reference measurement to scale to, is there no way to just manually adjust the image e.g., by clicking on one edge and dragging up/down? Thanks again!

Nice tut, It'd be probably be quite useful to add something regarding how to adjust the transparency of the background image though. [material/transparency]

@@TheRhinoEssentials I liked Fusion 360 more than Rhino :/

Fair comment - I actually really like Fusion 360 for certain applications :) There are definitely some things Rhino is better at, but I like them both!

How do you do a 3d floor plan in rhino, then export it to illustrator?
@paulofukuta2 жыл бұрын
Hey! With Rhino, is it possible to create technical drawings like SketchUp LayOut? Create quantitative schedules (areas, volumes, etc.) natively? Thank you!
@TheRhinoEssentials2 жыл бұрын
Yes though I'm not 100% sure the limitations yet - I'm not sure how schedules work yet

you can also just drang and drop images in rhino

How to turn the opacity of the floor plan down?
@belle74378 ай бұрын
Click the toothpaste icon on the image properties icon (round rainbow color). The second icon is the toothpaste/paint tube. When you click on it, you can edit the picture/image you imported. There should be an “opacity” scale that you can drag from left to right.
