This channel is an absolute gold mine, i really enjoy watching your content, thanks for that mate. I'll try to implement most of the rules and guidelines that you explained in this video and we'll see how it goes. By the way I see a lot of people building spreadsheets for matchups, in my opinion a better alternative to that would be to have something like an obsidian vault instead. (or some other app, i only use obsidian tbh) Anyway thanks a bunch for all the content mate, you are the best !

Great video as always. Could be interesting to hear your in depth take on how to play the often derided melee vs ranged matchups in top, from both perspectives. Like the double TP Jax reset from this was very useful to think about. In that sometimes it would feel like a waste to just recall one minute after teleporting. But of course that fine as long as you have the tempo to do it. I'm also saying this as a Teemo main and I need some way to handle Riven. More mobility than me and barely any damage I can blind. Except a few passive-empowered autos if I'm lucky 😝. Anyway great vid.

I wonder, I´m Master in EUW as an ADC SoloQ, do you feel like the whole "playing few champs" part is still what I should do in "higher elo"? My goal currently is to get to GM and sign with a better team in my regional ERL. I feel like I should play more meta oriented instead of one tricking Ezreal, who totally fell out of meta in S14

Appreciate it! I would still recommend a smaller champ pool, however if your goal is to go pro, one tricking is not a good look for teams so its best to have a few more champs you can play to that GM level you're aiming for

Thank you for the effort of teaching. I just wonder - This is pretty much the same stuff Neace taught and he was hated upon for being a bad coach. Also there are things missing out. From older League material there are for example things like always knowing how Mach damage your auto does against the armor value of targets or always knowing the damage value of your combos. That is almost never talked about nowerdays.

Hey. I was watching the stream of AddictedToBacon, an NA Challenger Garen One-Trick, and they were using Outplayed to record their deaths (and maybe other moments I am not sure), and would between ques review those clips, seemingly as their way of improving with every game (while in challenger). You have any thoughts of what sort of software is good for capturing clips like that besides Outplayed? Outplayed has a very divisive reputation with some people bashing it and other praising it as the savior. Also with clips, how many seconds before the events should you record?

Sir what do we do in lane when our wave is bouncing away from us and the enemy laner is likely going to contest the push to freeze or kill us because they are stronger? It feels like an impossible situation when they can all in you in your slow push wave and still win because you're behind already or just weaker at that stage of the game.

This scenario will always depend on the matchup and how strong/healthy both of you are so there's no general answer for it unfortunately

Are aurelion sol, malzahar and yone good champion pool? Have all 3 on mastery lvl40. (Or should I drop Malz I feel ever since I reached master he is useless) Which roles should I pick mid and top? Cause I have ziggs and kalista on mastery 30 too so maybe adc second? And brand for jungle or supp autofill.

Yone didn't have any major changes aside from them removing LT and the champs thar were insanely strong with LT are really bad now, which honestly says more of how much of a crutch the rune was. Now you and yasuos and yis etc need to care more about trading patterns, spacing and being conservative with your cd's instead of just running people down lvl 1.. what a loss LT was xD

Wont stop botlane from inting. Seriously tho how do I make a champion pool if my champion is meta or popular? Example kaisa. I enjoy playing her and feel confident with her, but she is banned and picked often. At least for midlane I think I should go with kaisa Vayne kayle trynd. Only picking other champs when it makes sense. Ik you said 1-2 for low elo but maybe I over think draft phase.

Yes, you overthink lane phase. I blind picked tryndamere to diamond 2. Every single game, didn't care the matchup or team comp. I just focus on the game, what I MYSELF CAN DO, not what my botlane can do. Also your champions aren't very meta besides tryndamere. I play more normal mids like annie, ahri, orianna, or talon mid not kaisa and vayne.
