One thing I found helpful in double-tonguing was Sarah Willis' MRI video. She's a french horn player, and she did a video where they did an MRI on her while she double-tongued, among other things. You can't actually bring a horn into the MRI chamber because it's metal, but they set up a plastic tube that had the same bore as a horn. So you could see exactly what she was doing inside her mouth as she performed. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words.
