Hey Sweetie-I am a 61 year old woman from Northern Colorado and I want to tell you how great I think your video is! You have such a pleasant personality and tons of great info about dry and damaged hair! I learned a lot. I have had very long hair all of my life and had NEVER colored or processed it in any way until I turned 60. I had to color it because I had tons of white hairs laying on top of my brunette hair which had always been a rich chocolate color that had become dull as well. After coloring it for the first time(at the top salon in my town) my hair was a mess and looked like shit! Not only was it not EVEN close to the color with highlights that I had asked for (and had shown her multiple pictures of…from the salons own website) but my hair was a frizzy mess that I have to spend a lot of time smoothing with a serum and large round brush and blow dryer every time I wash it. I was so disappointed! The second time I colored it,a month ago at another top salon, it was even worse….both the color and condition of my hair. I had a couple of inches trimmed and a conditioning treatment each time as well! The second stylist said my cuticle had been blown up. (?) Anyway, I appreciate you sharing your knowledge which I found helpful and if you or anyone sees my comment and has more to add I could use it!! I will like and subscribe! I think you are going to be very successful!

If you have low porosity hair and rinsing your hair with cold water it will just make it more dry, low porosity hair do much well with warm water it even gets to the hair faster, the same with deep conditioning you’ll get the best results with applying heat.. The most three things that helped me with hair dryness is doing the green house affect at night once a week for whole hair and mid week just the ends, conditioning hair twice a week with heat and doing overnight deep conditioning, but the last tip shouldn’t be done so much as it can lead to moisture overload.. Specially longer period of deep conditioning really changed my hair because low porosity hair doesn’t absorb moisture fast as well avoid using too much protein as it drys the hair. Knowing how to care for your hair as per it’s porosity it’s the key to longer healthy hair

Makes an ENORMOUS difference for hair and skin and some folks believe it is THE ONLY way to hydrate as nothing topical works if your body, skin and hair isn’t hydrated by consuming 💦water.

I watch a LOT of hair care videos. Telling people that the sun can be a source of heat damage is something I've never heard anybody else say. And it's so true. Facts!

I’d love to see the avocado treatment video. The tip on washing out your condition with cool or cold water is just another reason why videos like this are so important because I had no idea water temperature was a factor. So this is just another get gem of information to help me on my healthy relaxed hair journey.

My hair is always dry but my ends seem dry no matter what i do :/ I eat a good diet, stay hydrated, take care of my hair weekly, I use satin & silk and only straighten my hair once every 2-3 weeks. I use olive oil or almond oil on my ends and guess what still dry!

My hair is really dry I've been trying oil based treatments but won't work I ended up with more dryness. Ive tried apple cider vinegar this week I was surprised with the result. After mixing it up with water and let it sit about 10 mins my hair felt great. So I recommend apple cider vinegar!

I have a question. So the right side of my hair grows way fast then the left side. My left side is short or weak, brittle, and the ends be dry sometimes. My hair is shoulder length and the left side is just extra sometimes. My hair grows but it’s just the one side I’m struggling with. Do you have any tips? Any advice for me to do better please and thank you. 💖
@hyosomoo14374 жыл бұрын
Wow, I’ve never found anyone with my same exact issue. My left side is so dry and damaged compared to the right side. I don’t know why. It’s been like that for awhile. My right side has some damage but it’s mostly healthy.
@adelitenyamhanga78234 жыл бұрын
U can have different textures too. Very normal. May be cut it and have it evened out
@AprilSunnyBeauty4 жыл бұрын
Definitely not alone on this one. As the previous comments states, people have different textures that need to be treated differently. My sister struggles with this same issue and she noticed that she always starts on the healthy side and ends on the side she struggles with. By the time she gets to the struggling side her arm are tired and she doesn't give it as much attention. Also, the side she has the most issues with is the side she sleeps on. So little things like that doesn't create a bigger issue after a while. This is long but I hope it makes sense.
