I recently took over as choir director at my church. I am a jazz/pop singer and keyboard player. I have sung in church choir for many years but it is alot different being director. Thanks for your insight and help in getting a better sound out of our amature choir.

Hi. I was listening to this video on earbuds and it sounded like the sound is coming in front of me. I was wondering how you do your recording. Are you doing anything special to record the sound?

wow, did not expect this comment! thank you, but I am sorry to say I really do nothing :( I don't have a camera or a microphone - I record with my phone, the sound as well. The phone at that time was Samsung Galaxy S9, and I have to say the later versions of the phone I don't find as successful. Additionally, the room I recorded in was full of stuff, so the echo was minimum, and I sat really close to the phone, approximately 40cm, no more. So if that helps - great! kind regards
