My goodness, I never knew this was so hard. Perhaps this is why I've never had much of a sexy or feminine walk. Seems like an awful lot of work. Talk about time consuming, but great video. Thank you Malena. I like your vids.

Thank you 😊 it is actually not hard when you are used to dancing, then all these movements come naturally. 💗

Wonderful exercises dear ! I will ask you kindly to redo the video with the full body (lower legs and feets), because in the beginning of any exercise we will try to imitate you ! I know, i know, is quite dauting to redo things, but if it does not bother you ... thank you 🙏💅

Hi Malena,I've been thoroughly enjoying your tutorials on feminine walking and style. Your guidance has been incredibly helpful! After practicing the technique of resting weight on one leg to unlock the hip, I've noticed a significant improvement in my walk. However, I've encountered a small issue. When I walk in this manner, my knees start to hurt. Is this a normal part of the process, or am I possibly not shifting my weight correctly? In terms of unlocking the hips during walking, should the weight be primarily on the knees (flexing them to shift the weight), or should it be positioned elsewhere? If the latter is the case, could you please clarify the correct technique/weight for unlocking the hips?

Hello dear 💓 normally, your knees shouldn’t hurt when doing these exercises, so yes, this is a sign that something in your posture or position of your body might be wrong. I had a similar problem years ago in Bellydance and in my case I have two slightly different hip positions so I have to be especially careful with my posture. In general, always keep your knees directly above your ankles and they should point where your feet are pointing. Make sure that the knees are not turned in when, for example, your feet point directly forward or slightly outwards. Direction of knees and your second toe of your feet should always match, as a rule of thumb. Try this and if you still experienced pain, please go to a physical therapist and let them check your posture, because maybe there is a deeper problem, either muscular or from the joints.💗

PS: and the weight should not be on the knees when walking, you should focus on your hip sway, the rest should happen automatically. Don’t focus on the knees when walking (only when positioning yourself correctly in the beginning for the exercises).

@@malenamatisse Hello Malena, thank you so much for your response and valuable advice! Regarding your advice on focusing on hip sway during walking, I have a further question for clarification: When we talk about hip sway, should I be focusing on a horizontal movement (left-right-left-right), similar to the sensual dance (the "kick") you taught us? Or is it more about a vertical sway, like the movement in the imaginary string exercise (up-down-up-down) you demonstrated in this video?
@malenamatisse10 ай бұрын
@@ellelee3797 When walking, or in general, the hip sway is horizontal 😉

I'm excited to practice this with the new clarity you've provided! Btw, would you consider making a video on how to eat femininely in a restaurant or during a date? I believe many of us would find your advice on this topic incredibly useful and enlightening! @@malenamatisse

I feel if u will stand far and show your exercise and dance , and do voice over instead of explaining and exercising at same time , it will make your work easy i guess . Your place is very beautiful , amazing interior designing dear . As someone mentioned in other comment that it doesn't look professional , i feel they r saying because they r used to see dance in open space but even in that area also your dance and exercises look interesting and attractive .
