i have been trying this or smtg similar for the last couple of days with a palm size small ball. i already watched your tuitorial couple of times to see the details, as i experienced many times before nusnces make it work. let's say tossing with slightly bended arm. first righ foot is little bit in front. running to the ball, jumping and hitting in a straight line. visualizing body posture and mouvements and imitating it. actually imagining myself doing it like pros do it. if i keep practising , suddenly it starts working

Timing is so much harder then it looks 💀 I keep throwing it too far, not far enough, or not high enough.

Then it’s your toss that is the problem. Not timing 😒

@@rengab137 it all start with the toss; you have to find the perfect height and distance that works for your timing and make it consistent. Otherwise, it will be a egg > chicken argument. But what do i know, im not a coach 🤣

@rheabhatia1252
@rheabhatia1252 2 жыл бұрын
@@Sameer-sl5oe Hi! Timing is one of the hardest parts of a jump serve. Like a normal serve you have to have a solid toss, after knowing where to toss and how hard to it will be much easier. I would suggest starting out how she is explaining in the video, but before going straight into hitting jump up and catch the ball at the highest point possible. This will help your brain embed where to toss it lmk if this helps :)

When it falls back down, it should be able to contact your hand at the peak of your jump. This of course would vary depending on how long your approach is. It’s a pretty gray area and varies from person to person, hence why the only tip that can really be given is practice.
