How are your skills with steep corners? What area do you think you could improve on most?
@Coolcmsc4 ай бұрын
Committing into a steep turn with a bit of a drop half way round it (plus it’s inevitable following ‘hole’ inviting otb’s) is what intimidates me. In fact, committing and just riding it works out and it’s the dithering that leads to that otb. But it’s not easy until it’s ‘routine’ - that’s what I’m hoping, anyway 😂

What's with the wrist support, Neil?

choosing when to send it or when to bail as the trail goes from rutted to rooty... injure a wrist from otb or rolling an ankle from hike-a-bike

Thanks Neil, Great info well presented. I just bailed/walked on a new super-steep right hander on my local trails. Can’t wait to get back and try again with this info in my head. Wish me luck!😮

Mahalo! I've been walking a scary left hander on a local trail for a while... I'll give it a go now!

Thanks Neil. I've been sessioning on some downhill switch backs at my local park. Going to take some of this and see if it improves.

Never a left then a left or a right then a right...that would be a u-turn sending you back up the hill.

At what point was the e-bike even mentioned? He had to session that a lot to make this video, and I don't blame him one bit for bringing power to get back up; it wasn't a factor in the techniques that he was teaching at all. Are all Whistler videos chairlift ads now?
@HelplmAlive4 ай бұрын
You cant go a left and a left or right then a right because then you would be going uphill.
@tonkshred4 ай бұрын
I think that guy talking and “riding” should learn some basic trials abilities it would help him not be so awkward looking on the bicycle. Lay off the rear brake handle it like a man you need speed.
@yourchannel123454 ай бұрын
@tonkshred what? He's an ex pro downhill racer. I'm pretty sure he knows what he talking about. Also, you need speed, which is some of the worst advice I've ever heard.
@MrOvertSandStorm4 ай бұрын
@@tonkshred haha trying to give The Don advice 😂 he's clearly showing how the turns should be controlled. If he wanted I'm sure he could go faster.
