I've been trying to hone my sleep hygiene for years and all of the things that you mentioned help. "But, oh my gosh, here's something I tried recently that made a noticeable difference!" And that is wearing designated sleepwear. Yes, pajamas or a night gown. Not your sweatpants that you sometimes wear to gym. It has to do with signaling your brain that it's sleep time. So I take my bath (shower in the am), put on my PJs and my body knows... hey, we're not going to the gym, it's sleepy time. They are for sleeping! Not for the big tidy before bed! Then when you get up, get out of your PJs right away. They are not for cooking breakfast! They are for sleeping! Try it you'll be surprised how it makes a noticeable difference right away. 💜🌞🌵
