1. Compression Therapy (compression socks, sleeves) OTC 5-20mm 2. Regular Exercise (walking, cycling, swimming, walk 1 minute/hour, calf raises, leg raises, ankle pumps, bicycle kicks) 3. Strength Training (most important) 4. 5. Leg Elevation 6. Massage Therapy 7. Warm Water Soak 8. Missing Nutrients 9. Horse Chestnut 10. Hydration (8 glasses water/day) 11. Health Issues (stop smoking, lose weight)

hydration should be #1 in order of importance, drink those 8 glasses of filtered water with a pinch of SEA SALT and you will not only replenish 42-80 minerals/electrolytes but HAVE TO get up and walk to the bathroom probly 6 times for every 8 glasses of water

I came because i am young and was written to recieve surgery for vericose veins. I had crazy pain that stopped me from walking. I got pregnant and experienced huge swelling. I cut the suger. I stretched! Then i was able to walk longer. Over the summer i packed snacks and walked ALL DAY. I just met with the doctor from results of ultrasound pictures and i dont need surgery anymore! Now i plan to buy a small treadmill because i want to keep walking as much as possible!

Continue walking outside and forget the treadmill. There is a 1000% difference from walking in a forward motion through space and time then walking in place on a treadmill. Also your eyes need sunlight and so does your skin/body. There are rays that can also penetrate clothing that are beneficial for good health

I get more help from videos like this than Doctors in any ER or office. I was left to suffer for 5 years with a back plate out of place and they took multiple X rays and did absolutely nothing and looked at me like i was there for easy pain meds like some common addict. Ive been taking medication my entire life safe to say i hate meds of any kind. 2 winters ago i slipped on ice and fell on my back.. you guessed it an extremely loud pop and i was cured... Gravity and the mercy of god helped me more than human hands.. I also got these issues in this video and have been working with compression socks but i just added more to my arsenal the knowlage is greatly appreciated because if i were to go ask any local doctor id get a half assed explination and be told to take the med that gives the doctor the most money. Ive tripple checked this multiple times in my visits. Guys like this have helped me more than any local doctor. You are far better off long term getting information in places like this than any corrupted office.

I enjoy your channel, great content and advice. Just wish I was over your side of the world to see if you could help me change my broken 50 year old self that nobody has been able to the past 25 years. As a former miner of 30 plus years that beat me up bad, my removal business that beat me up bad, suffered severe neuropathy which led to me suffering a total physical and mental burnout by the age of 35. Fibromyalgia came, weight gain and everything else under the sun that makes my body feel like it is under attack constantly especially after a work out, mortons neuroma, back pain top and bottom, restless legs, sleep apnea, sprained ankle syndrome, diviticulosis, and a host of other symptoms and illness. I started a prospecting business a couple of years ago, walking up to 15kms in a day in pain, slowly I have lost 26kgs, given up 90% of my sugar intake, but still have all of the above. I told my gp, not one doctor the past decades has been able to help me except for throwing pills and expensive tests my way that led to nothing burgers except my bank balance depleating. Even the last chiropractor was a money making shonk that wouldn’t fix you, because he wants you to spend $50 a pop twice a week like the other hundreds of suckers who visits him for their 10 minutes of fame. What a truly sick world we live in…

Just to share my own story for those worried or wanting other advice. I had DVT at 26, doctors gave no cause, they said it wasn't my gaming habits because I work a full time job. Drink water, do a a 10 minute walk every two hours, stretch your legs a little. Ive got a permanently swollen right leg which I wear a very strong compression sock for and i also take abixapan blood thinning tablets ( By choice) just to be extra safe. I nearly died my DVT was that bed, save yourselves the trouble and just do a little walking every few hours. Please.

Have you been tested for May-Thurner syndrome? I’m 45 now and since 18, I’ve had tons of DVT’s, one pulmonary embolism and hospital visit’s trying to figure it out. 2 years ago while experiencing my PE, a doctor came in and told me about May-Thurner, I was checked for it and sure enough, that was it! I am all about telling others to ask their doctors to check for it.❤

I was overhydrating - drinking tons of plain water very nearly killed me. Those of us with access to Clean water take for granted how much we can drink. And before we know if we are at the hospital for 3 days and at risk for major brain bleed. Please have your electrolytes checked

I had my first blood clot at age 40. I was temporarily off work for a medical issue so set on the couch 🛋️ all day. The Dr. Theory is since my feet dangled instead of touching the floor he believes it cutoff circulation to my leg. I allowed it to be swollen 2 or 3 days before I went to the ER. When I got to the ER I said I'm not sure what the issue is but my leg is swollen and won't go down. It did not hurt at all so keep that in mind they don't always hurt. Anyway they freaked out nurses come running from everywhere. They are all this is very critical you lucky to be alive! After an ultrasound of my legs they said I had a foot long blood clot in my upper thigh. They gave me lovenox shots for a few weeks and that was it. Haven't had another one since However I do walk at least 30 minutes a day most days and I also take a low dose aspirin to help prevent blood clots and heart attack since I have been diagnosed with coronary artery disease. Heart disease is common in my family unfortunately. So anytime your on a plane or sitting still a long time try to get up move around or even exercises while sitting such as stretching the legs can prevent blood clots. Protip anytime you suspect you have a clot or a heart attack you should immediately take an aspirin as you head to the hospital. I have seen this actually save peoples lives as it helps thin the blood while you wait.

A few years ago I was having significant pain in my left foot. Felt like the source was the top side of the foot on the bone. I also had chronic knee pain and thought arthritis was settling in. Went to the foot doctor, got diagnosed with… tight calves. Seriously. I started what I now only semi-jokingly call the “miracle stretch” - the one where you keep your heels on the floor and lean forward against a wall. Per doctor’s orders I did it for about a minute 10 times a day. After doing that for about a week the pain in my knee and foot was gone, and as long as I do the stretching a few times a day now the pain stays gone. Intellectually I understand that there’s a bunch of stuff connected together, but it’s still a bit mind boggling that simple calf stretches fix knee and foot pain that sure felt bone oriented.

I am now 76 and about 15-20 overweight and I swim and do Tai Chi ... I started crawling during lockdown and found that it helped fix my right knee ... I was then able to get down from the floor with ease (that took a year) ... And a couple of months ago I was carrying a box and tripped over one of those concrete blocks in the parking lot ... and I just rolled back up onto my feet. I was shocked and did not know what happened, but I was standing and no damage anywhere on my body AND WAS STILL HOLDING THE BOX! That still gives me chills thinking about it. And I don't know if that was a miracle or an automatic movement that I have programmed into my body through exercise. Anyway, I highly recommend crawling. I found it is a thing called Primal Movement on KZbin.

Very informative, thank you. I am going to try everything you say. My legs and feet are weak and swollen from constantly sitting and sleeping in a recliner chair. Can’t lay in the bed because of 10 compression fractures in my back and retroperitoneal fibrosis. My medical history reads like a book. Can’t move around much because of back and foot pain. Anyway thanks, God bless

This man says everything correctly. I have been living such way and changed almost everything in my life. I gained a lot, but only lost weight. It is easy to move, sleep, drink natural, to take sunbathes, to refused out of bullshit food, including everything cooked with wheat flour or any kind of sugar. There are a lot of vegetables, meat, turkeys, chickens, organic unprocessed hard grains. Internet, time desire help to find everything you want. I quit sugar and wheat and have 1-1,5 hours of exercises 1-3times a week inside my home. I don't visit any gym. I just run, jump, dance, pump up, make abc, ride by bicycle and so. It is enough. There is no fckg belly now even after several surgeries on it. I lost 20kg by 3months 2years ago and I still fit)! If you need any advice or support, feel free to ask

I like to do the calf press/stretch with my toes on a stair/step to really give my calves a good stretch.
@Wyl7
@Wyl7 10 күн бұрын
For what it’s worth, my foot doctor told me not to do the stretches that way because you can injure your toes if they’re bearing all the weight. Instead, keep your foot and heel flat on the floor and lean forward against a wall or counter. Accomplishes the stretching without putting strain on the toes. But anyway, yeah… calf stretching is important. Doing the alone fixed knee and foot pain I was having.

Why
@phee3D
@phee3D 7 ай бұрын
@@nickeeg97Vit d serves various purposes and is often overlooked, try to keep it around ~50ng/ml. One of those purposes is calcium absorption and to make sure the calcium doesn't sit in your arteries and is properly transported to where it needs to be, you take vitamin k2. Talk to your doctor before taking these supplements.

About four years ago, I went down to mexico. On the third day of arriving , I developed the rash and swollen legs. I thought maybe I brushed up against some shrub. So I went to the hospital and I spoke to a doctor in the emergency room. We use google Translate for an hour. Because I had so many questions to ask. He wrote me out a prescription, and of course, it was in Spanish and. Of course I did not understand. He said I could use it on the way back on the plane. When I get back into Canada? I went to my pharmacy and he looked it up. And he had the same stuff in the pharmacy. It was the ingredient data set the use in hemorrhoids. I told him I don't suffer from hemorrhoids. He says for whatever is in here is the same stuff. And it works by improving your circulation.. One of the ingredients for sure was -flabanoids and vitamin C. Evidence presented includes their potential to reduce blood pressure in hypertensive individuals, as well as increasing peripheral blood perfusion and promoting CBF in both healthy and at-risk populations.

Great advice, wish i had this sort of info 40 years ago when i started withback pain that has plagued me all my life. I kept it at bay with exercise but never got any of this sort of advice from my doctor the times i actually managed to get to see one, usually just prescribe pain killers. I am doing all this stuff now and it helps but the damage is done and though i can manage to keep things better i cannot reverse 40 years of wear and tear thats happened due to not getting it sorted sooner.
