This goes for every figure, I see a lot of people ignore ab crunch and waist swivel and have their figures posed totally upright like they have a severe stiff back. And another secret, forbidden technique when you want your figure to get lower and more dynamic; just rotate the figure forward. Don't even need to articulate anything, don't try to make the ab crunch and ball joints do all of the work, all you have to do is change the angle. Then adjust the head angle upwards to match.

Great video!. Recently I was filming a video using the new SHF Star Wars Qui- Gon Jinn and I had a similar experience with Multiple joints falling apart while posing it. I was kinda surprised as I was being gentle with it. Also I am kind of surprised to see the Marvel Legends Spider-Man pose so much better than the SHF. Looks like SHF needs to rethink and retool their figures. Pretty bad when a $30 figure can Outpose a $100 figure!. Thanks for sharing this my friend. Cheers !!☮️👍👊💯

Tamashii and most expensive figures use more complex joint systems that have smoother and more natural movement than a ratcheted ab crunch cut out of the torso. But for whatever reason Tamashii seems to throw darts at a board to decide how each figure is going to be made and even lines running concurrently (like Naruto and One Piece or the various Gundam series) have vastly different engineering and quality.

Can't believe there is a day when a domestic beats a import company on posing! And it's a fraction of the price! That's why I prefer ML hip swivel 👍

Are you sure you're utilizing the drop-down hips on the Mafex Ben Reilly Spider-Man? I only have the Mafex MCU Upgraded Suit but the hip joints on that drop by a LOT and it allows for excellent articulation with his legs. Mine are pretty tight but they seem solid and I've had no issues.
