I’m a new viewer: When u were playing the 3rd over an A drone r u referring to the C# note? If so, were u striking the A string n then the C# at various positions across the neck? Love ur playing. Thanks man!

Thank you for this tips and always inspiring music :) On your skill level, when you play based on major scale framework, when targeting chord tones, do you: 1) Think about single chord tone names in your head and then target them, like "for A, a major third is a C#, then I know where to play all C# on the fretboard". 2) Or do you target chord tones through chord/triad shapes that you visualize on the fretboard? Then when you move on a major scale fingering, you see underlying chord/triad shapes with their 3 5 7 to target?
