Appreciate your comment, thank you. For getting the job done quickly (and without you having to worry about directing people) I’d recommend paying a professional model. You’ll get your images easily and it doesn’t need to cost a fortune.

Hi David, I just discovered your channel. I absolutely love your work, it's very much the atheistic I love! I absolutely love the way the Fujifilm GFX camera you use renders such beautiful colours. I do miss the Fujifilm system so much, I used to use the XT2s for weddings. Now looking at obtaining the GFX system to do creative portraits, it's just the price is stopping me a little. Thank you for your insight about why you love this camera especially coming from a working professional photographer.

my shooting area is 4 by 4 meters. for portraits i think i can manage. i do love your videos David and your style. i do have a question. i have a sony A1 for video and moving subjects and i cant keep my eye of the Fuji GFX 100S with a 45-100mm lens. nice alround lens for my portrait aspiration and kinda work. what is the reason why you havnt made the move to the Fuji GFX 50S II or 100S ? i hear that on the 100S AF is faster, ISO performance is the same as the 50S 2 but the 100S has a more recent sensor.
@DavidShoukry2 жыл бұрын
That’s a ‘cosy’ space! Yes, the 45-100 is an awesome lens. I haven’t made the change from the 50S because I don’t think the upgrade would change much about my work. I always shoot slowly so the improved autofocus won’t be much of a thing. As far as I know the 50S MK2 has the same sensor as its predecessor so the absolute quality of the photos would stay pretty much the same? The 100S is great from what I hear but the files are just too big for me!

@@DavidShoukry i have to figure out if it is big enough for portrait work, i think so. full legth isnt an option in this space but renting a bigger space isnt an option during the learning phase.
@DavidShoukry2 жыл бұрын
I think you’d be fine for full-length at 50mm (or 63mm GFX) in that space.
