Love your videos! I’ve had knee pain for so many years from excessive amounts of hiking but your mobility videos around the knee and patellar tendon have helped me get rid of it (seems to be permanently). Thanks Coach E!

Thank you. I can’t tell you how confusing it is to get clear recommendations. For example, many recommendations from folks like knee over toe guy have you do the stretch where you back into the wall. I am greatful for your discussion on this but also frustrated by the mixed messages by others.

To add to this - you will never get the same message from everyone with an opinion about any topic. That’s why I share my rationale. Then it’s up to the listener to decide.

These are great. Question on one leg butt scoot. Can I use both hands instead of one on the floor?. My Forearm extensors are weak and now sore after using watering can today in the garden. Thank you Coach E. All summer avoided that activity.

Are these exercises appropriate if recovering from meniscus tear?

These exercises are ok but it's hard to say from our vantage point. We would need to see you move to make a firm decision. However, consider grabbing the Knee Pain Solution program. It can help you to assess and address the root cause of your issues: www.precisionmovement.coach/knee-pain-solution-yt Check it out and let us know what you think :) - Coach Joshua, Team PM

Two Questions please. Is it a acceptable regression to use a roller to assist with rolling the butt to aid the hamstring and ankle mobility (and it gets into those tight rotators in the butt)? I've never been able to do the butt scoot in the DMT. Any suggestion on regression for the lunge. I'm too tight in the hip flexors, and lack toe flexion on the left foot due to Big Toe spurring and arthritis.

Would the Spanish Squat hold be considered static?
@PrecisionMovementCoach2 ай бұрын
Sort of. It is static, by definition, during the hold because you are not moving. However, it's likely not problematic if you don't pause for too long, maintain complete muscular control, and are not passively pushing the joint into the end range. Make sense? - Coach Joshua, Team PM

What on earth is the Spanish squat. Never seen a pose/exercise with so many different nationalities 😂
@JanneRasanen22 ай бұрын
@@PrecisionMovementCoachIn my experience thanks to epmanualphysicaltherapy engaging the glutes while squatting helps a ton. This is true for the Spanish squat too.
@JanneRasanen22 ай бұрын
@@emmaeIIeSpanish squat has a band behind the knees attached to the front so that you can squat farther back than without the band. So no knees over toes in this exercise. It is probably safer that way and when you are good with Spanish squat you may want to think of harder exercises.
