Hey Charlie, wish we could help but VP's license doesn't allow us to use it commercially. Of course, customers are fully enabled to install it themselves on our machine, if so inclined. So, we're not too versed on that but luckily the community is awesome so I'm sure they'll help. Be sure to show off your work! ;-)

i built 2 Minis 24" HD AMD X4, 8G Ram, GT7-10 running Vp9, FX2 mainly and is Fast to load and no lag on flippers And a 27" FHD AMD X4 8G Ram, SSD and GT-1030i both with 19" Squared Backglass, runs VPX, FX3, loading is slower and milli-second lag on flippers, I will check Table Res and change some setting and test it out, it all make sense, cheers

I don’t know why people buy 4k Pinball tables to begin with. If you do get a 4k table, make sure you have a pc that can run 4k gaming. To do that your pc must have a external graphics card and not using onboard graphics. If your stuck with a 4k screen and can’t afford a pc to power it for gaming, for 4k gaming you should be using a RTX 2070 or higher gpu. Anything less your gonna have to turn off some of the bells and whistles. No matter what resolution you set your pc too, your 4k display is going to up convert the image to 4k. Some tvs are better then others at doing this I wouldn’t recommend setting your pc to 1080p for a 4k up conversion. I recommend all people stuck in this situation to set their resolution to 1440p. 1440p upscales way cleaner to 4k then 1080p and chances are your graphics card will be able to handle 1440p without too much trouble. Also when choosing a tabletop tv , get a LG or even some Samsung’s that a have hdmi 2.1 outputs . They support VRR (variable refresh rate and my lg even supports nvidia g sync which means all my pc has to do is get the frame rate to stay basically above 40fps and you won’t even know the difference because with VRR and g sync it will make it look like it’s running at 60fps. Hope that helps some of you.

You should definetly Change tl Visual pinball x and pinup Popper so you would See how Virtual pinball can Play and See.
@scottcarson195 жыл бұрын
Sadly, licensing restrictions won't let us do that. Makes us wonder how/why competitors are legally using VP....

1st you arent using visual pinball x.. you are using/showing future pinball which is way outdated.. 2nd you are using pinballx as frontend instead of pinup popper.. pinballx has well known big problems with bugs which werent fixed since 1,5 years.. on my systems the loading times are way more faster.. in between 10 to max 20 secounds.. and it doesent matter which size a cab has!!! because 4k is 4k.. it doesnt matter if the screen size is 27" or 43"

Sorry, your assumptions are wrong. But great to hear you've got a setup you're proud of - can't wait to see your video!

He’s actually using Hyperpin which is even further outdated. Your front end is causing the slow load because my most heavy tables from Future Pinball take awhile to load but the tables you load shouldn’t take as long. I’m running an i7-4770 with a gtx980 8gb Ram and an SSD and have much faster bootup Times than your setup so I’m curious as to what your setup is. Also you’re running a non-watermarked version of Future Pinball, were you able to obtain it from NanotechGaming?
