My teachers never once told me to hold the nails pointed down. I always have trouble with flooding the cuticle even though I use small beads and now I know why. I always tilt the nails up or hold them flat.

It took me years to stop myself from picking at just my nail polish. Even if it was fresh and had absolutely no ridges, I still scraped and peeled at them. I finally got out of it, but picking at acrylic ridges is far too tempting. This video definitely helped with my application, reducing the actual things I want to pick at. Thanks :)

When she said she doesn't know one person who doesn't pick at lifting I looked at my thumb which I had just picked at lol
@leannes10834 жыл бұрын
No, when she said that I nearly shouted "me, me! I don't pick at them!" at the screen. But I bit my nails 🤦🏼♀️til I was 16, so I've spent the last 20 years trying to keep them nice! I taught myself gel, and kirsty has taught me acrylic (though I do still get the odd frustrating issue every now and then!) My friend's nail tech daughter used to do her nails, until she asked me to try doing them, (eek was I nervous!) now she won't let anyone else do them, so I'm thinking about doing a proper course now, just not sure what course would be best. Kirsty is sooo booked up every time I look!😩😩😩

I love your videos I have seen just about all of them and I have spent so much money doing all kinds of new things this last couple of weeks because of how amazing and educating your videos are! And of course you are just so easy to watch not boring and annoying! Lol I would literally love to come work with you I have been doing acrylic since I was 14 years old lol but I have always had a prob with flooding but I never tipped the finger!!!! So today I will be doing that! Lol I really do appreciate your videos 🖤 I just wish I had more peoe to practice on so I don’t have to keep changing my nails every two days! Also, have you ever done a video on extending week old gel nails?! I have weak weak nails and since I keep changing then every couple of days to do new stuff I decided today I will just shorten my gel nails and shape them like my reg short nails and the. Extending...hoping to save me more product and time lol we will see how that goes! I’d love to see you do it as I know you will perfect it!

Will have to try this your way, I'm slow in so slow getting this ratio right it's frustrating I'm not surr how much pressure I should be using when I wipe brush on the dampen dish and if I'm supposed to just leave the tip wet, iv tried all ways but I won't give up your my inspiration, I love your sense of humour can have a good laff as well as learn, thankyou BTW I love your hair colours

I just found you a couple days ago & I've learned sooooo much from you in just a few hours! I wish you were in New England! I've done my nails myself since I was a teenager on and off (basically it depends on how broke I am at the time LOL) Over the years I've gotten really bored with doing my own nails & I've pretty much done every color but you've definitely inspired me to try some new things! I'm not sure if you have a video but I'm wondering if you're not ambidextrous how do you do your dominant hand with your non-dominant hand? That's always been the biggest problem I have I'm somewhat ambidextrous but not enough. My left hand comes out great but my right hand not so much... Either way I LOVE your videos and thank you for putting it out there!!!
