I'm located in Austria/Europe. Using an American e-sim and a VPN and I only get content from the US and my content also is only shown to people from the US - definitely more convenient than buying a physical SIM card and having to put it in and out of your phone 24/7

Thanks for your video! I live in the US and then went for vacation to Mexico and suddenly my videos were getting zero views, even when I got back to the US my views never went back up. I had to close that account and start a new one. Now I'm on vacation in Bolivia and same thing is happening, zero views, but I can't keep creating new accounts on every trip. Well, what you see as a viewer is different from where your content reaches as a creator. You can actually change what content you see by going to the settings in your profile or by clicking "don't show me this content" on any video on the For You. TikTok has a few articles in their Newsroom about this. As a creator, I might encourage you to try to use a VPN to place you in Germany. You could also try switching SIM cards, but it's very rare that that works.
