Another thing I’ve noticed is that some people end up being lucky and the videos go viral in a short period of time, and they either get shadow banned or they remove your account. But yet if it’s someone that looks a certain way or lives in a certain place they don’t get any of those things happening to them, and I think it’s wrong and selfish of them to do something like that. I’ve also noticed that actual creative people with actual talent get little to no likes and followers and less possibility of reach to others and people who make/do stupid and dangerous trends or just some stupid dance they copied of other people get more likes and followers then the real creative artists get. That’s what makes me mad because they are being unfair, selfish and making people feel insecure about how they look due to social media companies choosing who looks good and that they want to see other then actual talent. I just hope that one day everyone can be included and everyone gets the reach they deserve, because at this point social media is a toxic environment entirely based on looks and stupid and dangerous trends.

I found that the algorithm will scan the video for guns and probably other stuff like that. They held a video for a few hours then banned the video. I tried uploading twice, same thing. I blurred the gun out and re posted and it went right up.

That's interesting. I wish the platform wasn't so ridiculously meticulous with what it chooses to remove, but it's the system we have to work with I guess. There's an account @mini.katanas that absolutely cannot show any blades without videos getting removed, even though they are a licensed manufacturer. It's certainly frustrating at times. Though, I do know TikTok has some major improvements coming this Summer that should improve things for creators.

You couldn’t have made this video at a more perfect time. Thank you - I had a video which got taken down so I appealed it and won the appeal but they still put me on a 7 day posting ban. When it finished I uploaded another video which again they put under review.. I appealed it and won the appeal. However, they decided to give me another 7 day posting ban. I then uploaded another and yet again they’ve reviewed my video - after 24/48hr they agreed they were at fault and re-uploaded it. It just shows that anything I upload they are reviewing even if it isn’t violating the community guidelines. But I don’t feel like the videos i appeals for and win are being pushed out more than before? They do worse that most of my other videos. Will they ever stop reviewing every one of my videos? Thanks

First minute and thirty, just with your list I think I know what it is for me. I deleted the app for a while, came back to use it for my online shop and posted some time lapses I already had, using an app with royalty free music. Had to check mark agree that this was the case when I uploaded, but it probably is still having some processing. That, or it falls under poor quality because it has a watermark from the free version of what I used to timelapse 😭

I do have a question though, my Tiktok is mainly short comedy bits about relationships.. so I am guessing the algorithm shows my posts to people interested in that. They get around 10-75k views on average.. I also create music that is a lot to do with relationship topics, but my music posts don't do well.. they actually never get more than like 200 views. I think my piano videos are stuck at 0 views is the audio.. but the audio sounds great in the preview on site, but is completely destroyed by TikTok once up. On very rare occasions upload nr 8 or 10 has resolved the audio Quality.. and it starts getting views. Yikes... in other words TikTok is pretty much the same as KZbin, just with restricted video length. Their system won't publish your video, yet they won't tell you why. I uploaded my first video, 320 views, then stopped. Ok... Uploaded my 2nd video like a week later. 0 views. 7 days passed. Still 0 views. Did I get a message from TikTok? Nope. I had the 0 views thing for more than 10 hours, there was two things that might have caused this I think. The first is an emoji that Tiktok didn't recognized and put a ? instead of the emoji. The other was that I listed my website in the description. It has NSFW links on there, but my videos on Tiktok are safe for everyone. I reuploaded the video and deleted the emoji and the website address and now it's fine. It took a couple of minutes before the video started to have views and likes.

Less to no views on TikTok is common for new accounts. Initially, TikTok’s algorithm might not even index your content. This means your TikToks won’t be going to the TikTok’s For You Page. Fix: Wait For Some Time You should wait a minimum of six months before you start trying out different things. However, it is important to keep creating content to get a better chance. After all, you never know which of your video will go viral, and you may start generating hundreds of views in a few weeks.
