Hi Leila.. love this one. I've always put the procedure in a button that adjusts the header and then prints. Of course, if I use the default print CTRL+P or from the QAT button, then I don't get my functionality. This solves the problem. Your solutions are always creative and valuable. Great video. Why not use the change sheet event and monitor only the cell that the header data is typed in. Then every time you change the details in the cell the report header will be updated automatically. It will be visible in print preview immediately.

Hi there how would one code say for the Right Header to have a referenced cell from the first page and then another referenced cell from the first page but on different lines within the same header- e.g. Sh.PageSetup.RightHeader="Date:" & Worksheets("CoverPage").Range("B19").Value Sh.PageSetup.RightHeader="Revision:" & Worksheets("CoverPage").Range("B23").Value But if these can be stringed together and put on separate lines- as the code obviously takes the last Line overriding the Date line.

For this line Sh.PageSetup.CenterFooter = "XXXXXXXXX" work fine but when I use this Sh.PageSetup.CenterFooter = Sh.Range("B41").Value I got error: Run-time error 1004. Unable to set the CenterFooter property of the PageSetup class.

Why not use a change event for A2. Then you would not need the different print preview. You would just need to edit A2 after writing the macro. And it will show in the normal preview.

Yes you can. That would run it every time the cell is changed but that would work too. You don't need the other print view at all though. I just used it for demonstration to show that the macro runs. The macro still runs with the current print view the moment you make a printout or PDF.

How to link headers and footers on a sheet cells. How to show page no or nos in cells from header. Many people have many videos like this but there is no one has a video how to link headers and footers to cells in the sheets. There is video to link headers field to a cell from sheet but not vice versa. There is no option to repeat footers in the sheets from rows in sheets on footer. You cannot insert tables in the headers and footers.So think for this.
