Hi Leila, I have been looking for this kind of work for a spreadsheet that I am working on, quick question for you, does it work for pivot tables and pivot charts? I tried doing it on a pivot chart that is based on a pivot table and it gave me an error, thank you in advance

I bought Office 2021 LTSC after previously using 2019 Professional. However, I've noticed a significant slowdown in performance with the same Excel file I've been using, which is 6676 KB in size and includes formatting, links, etc. Typing data now results in lag, and there's a delay of 1 to 2 seconds when selecting a cell. Despite searching online, it seems Microsoft has moved away from supporting this version, even though they initially launched it during the COVID-19 period. I've tried all possible optimizations, but performance remains an issue. Any further suggestions?

Hi Leila Thanks for sharing. Very insightful. Could you explore further in Google Sheet QUERY function? especially the advance functions. Thanks.
I've been trying to use a cell in Excel as a parameter for an SQL query in Power Query. Anyone have any tips where I can find good information about that? So for example I could have the value 2023 in a cell and I want it to be used in a query like "SELECT * FROM Sales WHERE Year = [Cell Value]"

VLookUp ]returns the first matched value. If there are two matched values, if we want the second match value to return, what would be the solution?

I have always considered Microsoft's description of the "approximate match" to be misleading. When you use a VLOOKUP with the default value on the 4th parameter or with TRUE, the VLOOKUP assumes that the second parameter table is sorted and returns data from the first line where the first parameter would have fallen, if the table in the second parameter contained all possible solutions. For example, if the second parameter table is sorted in $10 ($0,$10,$20) increments, with letters A, B, C ... etc. in the second column, a VLOOKUP(19.99,A1:B3,2,TRUE) will return a B, even though 19.99 is closer to $20, than to $10. Don't know if anyone else has experienced this behavior in Excel before.

@LeilaGharani ....so after this vid and your vid "Debits and Credits MADE EASY with ADEx LER", I've come to terms with the fact that for now I just have to accept which accounts are debit accts and which are credit accts, memorize it, and move on, but I'm not satisfied. I'm trying to wrap my head around what makes each particular account a debit or credit acct, and how that relates to the basic accounting equation, and I have a feeling I'm in for an epiphany....don't worry, I'll keep you updated 😄Your channel has been really helpful so far, btw. My background is technical electronics, my degree is computer science, but somehow I ended up keeping the books for my Mom's real estate brokerage! Agggghhhhhh!!!! I have to learn accounting and bookkeeping!!! Thanks for your hard work!

I use vlookup to identify new values in an export file that weren’t in the previous export file. I find that looking up a single column that contains the unique identifier is faster using vlookup as I can type the ending TAB 1 TAB 0 ENTER then filter for N/A results (ie new transactions). I don’t have to use the mouse again to select the second lookup range. But besides this single use case, I always use Xlookup these days

OneNote Web Clipper no longer functions in Firefox. I'm not sure whose decision that was (Microsoft or Mozilla) but I'm pretty irked by it. OneNote's Web Clipper never worked as well as Evernote's or some of the third-party apps but, in most cases it was far more convenient.

Thank you very much for this tutorial. I tried to use it, but at the point where you have to Rename files, minute 10:23, in your window you can select a folder in Filter to rename, while in my version of Power Automate it only allow to select one single file,. Is there an explanation why it doesn't allow to select a folder? Thank you
