How to inspect a semi truck for purchase

At Jax Truck Center in Jacksonville Fl we try our best to bring you the best used truck possible. This is a very brief demonstration of what we do before ever buying a truck. Normally it takes us about an hour and a half to two hours and includes a good test drive and getting fully under the truck. At Jax Truck Center we recommend having our mechanic look at trucks before you buy. I made this video as I see a lot of people not doing any of what I did in this video.

Ok, so 1st we need to buy that thing (Blue Ponit) to check false things. 2nd make sure air gages builds up air. 3rd you already know pre trip etc

Not just all that. Get under the truck look for leaks. Make sure all lights work check the drive line for play. check the tires for cupping . Bring some one that knows trucks. A lot of guys just hop in take it for a drive and say ok it"t good
