This is a great video, as far as it goes. I tend to dive a lot deeper when I'm going to spend my hard-earned money on an expensive (to me) piece of equipment. Thanks for the checklist, it's a good starting point. That said, it could easily be 2-3 times that long to cover everything.

Thanks. I’m considering a scag tiger cub in Hawai’i with lots of rust, dirty oil and dead battery. Also I wa s told it won’t start once warmed up. Any ideas for that. I was thinking ignition coils. Try to bargain it for 500. Plan to get trailer and llc for landcaping. @ Howe Equipment

So how do you be careful not to get leaks from your Transmissions? Do you just try to go slow over bumps and not turn too sharp?

Don't ever buy a used lawnmower.

It really depends on the situation and how handy you are but there are plenty of good used mowers out there, you just have to know what you’re looking for. And there is always the possibility of buying a used mower still under warranty. It’s not for everyone though. Thanks for watching.
