How to Install 2013-2014 Ford Mustang RGBW™ DRL LED Boards by Diode Dynamics

It would really benefit customers if you took the time to show how to wire these. Anyone can make a video to remove the old board and replace it with the new one. My specific issue is tapping them into the headlights/turn signals.

Any idea why the switchback DRLs are so hard to find in stock? I wanted to do those instead of the RGBW, but it seems they’re out of stock everywhere. Not sure if they were discontinued, or will be available again soon.

Is it possible to get the lens off with a good heat gun? I'm really apprehensive about putting my lights in the oven.

+Auto Young We recommend using an oven to open up the headlamp; however, it is possible to get the lens off with a heat gun. Typically, a heat gun is more tedious and takes longer, but it can still be done. If you have any other questions, feel free to contact us!

Awww, these don't come in orange? Glad I saw this comment before purchasing them, that's all I wanted them for. Would've made a nice addition to my orange flood lamps, interior lighting and bay lighting. Unfortunate.

One of the led strip went out on my passenger side headlight. ..... just a shot in the dark question, do you think if I replaced the board that it will fix that problem? Or should I get a whole new unit. Thanks!

Hey so I just got mine all done up. I have the demon eyes and drl boreds as well. My drls will stay off when I turn the headlights on with out the rgb but they work when I have the rgb on.

Yes, you will need to have the RGBW on to run the DRLs. You can set them to white through your controller or app if you have the Bluetooth Controller for on-road use!

It’s not hard to do; just time-consuming. You need to have a lot of patience to open them up properly, but everything else isn’t that bad. Just set a day or two to do the project and don’t rush it…

Hi there! For this particular product, the headlight must be heated up in order for the adhesive to soften, allowing the headlight to be opened. We strongly recommend professional installation, as it is possible to damage the headlights and other components during this process.
