How To Install 4 Point Docking Hardware Kit | Harley Davidson Quick Detach

I have a 2021 Street Glide and it does not come with the bolts that mount to the frame of the bike for the 4 point docking kit. They have a rubber type gasket on top of the rail that you pull off by hand, there is no plastic insert on the 2021 bike. I bought a 4 point docking system on E-Bay, the bolts that they sent with the kit start to thread into the frame but after 2 turns they do not screw into the bike the rest of the way. I contacted E-Bay who promptly refunded my money and told me to keep the docking kit. Now I need to find out what size thread Harley uses in order to be able to get the right size bolts. Would you know what size I need, I don't want to fork over $164 to Harley for a docking kit if I can just get 4 bolts. Thanks.

Is the quality of the docking station good? Metal or plastic docking?

The piece that bolts to the bike is metal. The actual docking pegs are hardened plastic.

Why are you still running an up window tail light with a lower license plate mount?

These were straight off Amazon. Link is in the description. They work well. Sometimes can be a little difficult to attach the tour pack to, but gets better with time.
