I followed the tutorial this weekend and got 6 new rod holders installed on my 25 open! I used a dremmel to route the hole a little bigger and then use 4200 fast-cure to seal the newly exposed core material & in the bolt holes! This was really helpful!

Great video. I'm just about to add a couple of rod holders to the bow of my boat too. Don't know why I just didn't have them put in when I ordered the boat. I have a 2 PC. Hul so it's going to be a bit more work to get them in. But a little research gave me a great idea to make it easier. Good job... Tight lines

What latches do you have on your in deck fish boxes? Also do you know what gasket you used? Thank you!

I believe they are Gemlux 2" non locking, and the Hatch seals, gaskets are Taco Marine seal tape. Hope this helps.
