I just want to agree with Jordan North real quick. This video is better than the one Rough Country themselves made. This goes to show that these companies just care about the sales, not the customer. Here we have a guy out in LA that's using old wheels as jack stands making better content than these multi-million dollar companies. Good job Blue Collar, watching your videos is like having someone right there holding your hand actually teaching you.

It’s crazy to think that you have been the major help with my truck ! Iv got a move bumper that I watched your other video on how to , me and a buddy who can welp pretty well put it together watching your video over and over along with the body lift ! That’s how we figured out how to get the bumper to sit flush with the grille and headlights . I just dropped the truck off at the shop to get my superlift put on also 😂 if it wasn’t for these videos I don’t even know where the truck would be at today. I’m not putting the lift on but I like learning and seeing basically what is being done to my truck without having to ask them if I can watch putting it on . I simply work too much to have that kind of time to be able to do it myself without the truck sitting in the parking lot for 2 weeks haha I appreciate all your efforts on these videos man ! The truck looks sick with the 37’s ! I’ll make a upload of the truck when I get it back Wednesday to try and show you ! Is there any social media link I could try and contact you through ? Blue Collar How To do you trust stacking the blocks ? My buddy says it’s a death wish ..
@bluecollarhowto34895 жыл бұрын
@@Dakota-ish Good question Years ago when everything had leaf springs, stacking was definitely an issue. Most companies would use a block and an add a leaf spring back in the day to get the rear lift. It appears today a lot of the companies stack a block on top of the factory block. There are 2 things to look at here. One at least on the gm models their blocks are molded to fit on the perch very tightly, making it very difficult for it to move, even one another on is stacked on it. Two The companies do a lot of R and D on these kits. When they sell these kits to the public they take on the liability if there is a failure. If a failure occurs and someone is hurt or killed and the investigation finds their design faulty guess who is liable. So if they think their set up is safe enough in this very sue happy world then I would think it is good. Now with all that being said, I did find a set of 7 inch fabricated blocks on eBay that I swapped mine out for.
@Dakota-ish5 жыл бұрын
Blue Collar How To when I took a look at the blocks I was yea that don’t look too good . I may look up those blocks as well then . I’m disappointed that such a old brand still uses those to lift the back up while Rough country uses their anti wrap blocks .. I was thinking about buying a set of roughcountry Tracbars to eliminate the wrap . But if I could simply buy a better single block and save money why not . May end up buying both .
@bluecollarhowto34895 жыл бұрын
@@Dakota-ish Most companies still stack blocks, not all rough country kits come with the anti-wrap blocks. The best way is to use springs.
