It is hard getting it just the right length that is why this one is nice with the adjustable legs.

Excellent video! Your choice of ladder orientation was interesting. Why not open it in the other direction, i.e. into the larger room space? That seems more useful to me, if only just a bit.

I put it that direction because if it opened the other way you would be walking into the slope side toward the eave and there isn't a lot of room that way, this way it's toward the peak of the roof with a lot of head space.

Me again! I saw your link to the ladder on amazon pointed to a WIILAYOK brand ladder, but the label I noticed in your video was for a LOUISVILLE ladder. Are they the same product?

Frank, i put it opening that way because of the head space when walking up the ladder you won't hit your head there is more room that way.
