Ha ! First timer here. Our new vanity is on the way. It has a bottom drawer and my pipes come up thru the bottom of my current vanity - yay! I think the P Trap should be okay as ours has a bottom drawer and then a shelf above it. It's a Glacier Bay 24" Huckleberry vanity and I have yet to see it on the inside. I'm assuming it has the cutout for copper lines coming up thru the floor. If not, I'll have to get creative. Seeing the conflict here with the P Trap hitting the drawer is great and shows us that you just have to make it work. Great video. Thnx for sharing. As a noob I may make a video of my vanity replacement too. There are so many vids that don't always show roadblocks and how to get around them. But I'm going to take my time and enjoy my first vanity replacement.

great segment. i just went to pull out our old vanity for a new one. the new one has drawers that are 20 inches from the wall and the water supply is 21. i believe the height is tall enough to be above the back of the drawer. based on that and old valves, i think i'm going to hire a professional. thanks for sharing.

Do vanities with a bottom drawer have a cut out like this one for copper hot and cold lines coming up thru the bottom of the vanity, and not the wall? My old vanity has the copper pipes going thru two holes in the bottom of my old vanity. Of course my new one has a bottom drawer !! Lol

Keep a small plunger under the sink for when the pop up drain stops up, because pop ups do clog more easily and more often than the old style drain.

I’m replacing a vanity on the first floor of a thrift story townhouse. The sink had a vent in the original plumbing. Do I have to use a vent in every bathroom according to Google, I do.

Hi i love this vanity but i have my own drop in sink snd plan to order a top for it. Is there any reason why i cant use my own top? Looks like it does not come attached.

Vanities are pricey. One grand for a basic 48". When they come up on Facebook marketplace, relatively new, they're gone in like an hour. Love that Pop up drain, the stupid ball and stick thing is always hard to line up.

Or the homeowner brings you an Ikea knock down vanity made out of MDF. Ya laugh inside and let them know that this is not a good idea for a wet area. They don't listen and say I like it. You install.
