Im new to the hobbie and recently ordered the brushed model. i am considering upgrading to the brushless system and im curious if it is necessary to change the motor mount when doing this conversion. Any help and information on this would be greatly appreciated and a push in the right direction!

Hi! Yes I would change the motor mount out, it’s only like $20. I guess you could get crafty and modify the original but it’s much easier to just buy the Hot Racing one and call it a day.

To be honest, I am not 100% sure. I want to say no but I could be wrong, it would probably take some finagling to get working.

It can go either way as long as the gears mesh together
