The Carbon Flash one did without the stableizer bar installed but I have gone much faster and my wing is stable.

Mr Corvette channel its one thing that alot you all forgot about taking off the bumper, Its one little bracket under there above the 4 -10mm bolts, it has a push pin it .

Just curious as to the install costs on the carbon flash with the stabilizer bar.

You don't need to slide the lock mechanism out, Doing that risks breaking parts. all you do is follow the cord up into the trunk, take the back wall off where in the trunk, then you can access the cord, pop open the cap to where the cord is, then release it from the slid plate. It is way easier than fucking with that lock mechanism. Then you can pull the cord through the Exterior wall and take the whole bumper off. leaving the bumper hang like that leaves a lot of stress on the plugins and you could possibly damage the whole bumper, it's better to just pick up the whole bumper and put it on 2 Saw horses covered in blankets. The company that makes the taillights that are in this Corvette is called the (retrofit source). If you go on there KZbin channel you can see a video of them installing these lights and they completely remove the bumper with no problems at all. I have the same tail lights and that is exactly what I did it literally took me nothing to do it. Easy as 1-2-3

Hi just ordered this carbon fiber wing and was wondering what keeps someone from walking up at night and unscrewing this wing off my parked vette? Of course it would normally be garaged at night but there are always those times you travel and stay at motels, hotels air bnb, etc. What is the goop you added? locktite, epoxy, or something else? It justs looks to easy to steal, of course they would be challenged to reuse it without the hidden brackets but I would be out an expensive wing. I envision some teenagers mounting it on their Gran Turismo game room wall.

Wondering if you could help me out ! I got this wing off a totaled zo6 at my local junk yard the rear bumper was rear ended and I was unable to grab the mounting hardware would I be able to just buy the mounting hardware for my 2016 z51 or will it not work since it came off a 2015 zo6? I can’t find a difference besides it saying on the website wide for zo6 grand sport / base for stingray if I order the mounting hardware would I order it for the base ?

Do you really need to remove the bolts from the rear quarter panels? I installed a spoiler on mine and only had to remove the 10 across the back, then just pull the rear cover off.

No you don't I do to make rhe bumper more flexible to allow the bumper to align back up when putting it back together.
