Hello, I just changed my clutch and I lost 3 bolts one of the lower part (the one you said were 16mm) and two from the upper part of the gearbox. Is it a problem or should I buy new ones?

No no no you can’t reuse audi bold you need to buy new ones watch part 2 I think I have them linked in the description

How many miles were on the A4 before you had to replace the clutch? What were the symptoms?

It was a few years ago so not really sure on mileage but the clutch slipped so bad the car wouldn’t move at all. On the way to my house it gave out and I had to tow it

These have a duel mass system and I’m not sure if you can have it cut but if this is something you need right away I would for sure just buy new if your not in a rush to get the car running contact a machine shop to have it done. I hope this helps

How did you get the power steering lines on the driver side out of the way enough to drop the transmission?

The power steering line is half soft line and half hardline but moving the transmission closer to the pass side will allow you to drop it without an issue

After taking out the transmission did u reprogram? Or it just start right up? I got a gear box malfunction,clutch slipping too great and shift fork unregister movement.

Not at all if you did everything right it will just start right up

Super easy. Just install a two post hydraulic car lift in your garage and the rest is easy as pie. 💰

Just to be clear…. That’s an All wheel drive model? Mines a front wheel drive, so I assume I won’t have a driveshaft going to the back on mine ?

I’m pretty sure these clutches are all fuel mass flywheels but Don’t quote me on that lol. But I would just stick to what you have and upgrade those parts as they will last longer to my knowledge you can’t resurface a duel mass flywheel
