Video didn’t go far enough into what connects to the TV. A complete visual plus audio would have been great for a Senior citizen.

have you ever screwed or unscrewed anything in or out of a thread? This is a legitimate question, and will serve as a "teaching tool" i can use to explain later on.

So can use this on your wifi box to have it split the usage to two devices.

But if I have Verizon Fios and two smart TVs in different rooms... will this work somehow? Don't I have to pay for two wifi boxes?

So once you split it you can run your cable for the TV and the other for your WiFi modem ?

My comcast double splitter only has one out wire connected. We started to hear high frequency noise the day our splitter was put on and im wondering if the double splitter should have two wire coming out of the out sections. Any advice? Thanks

Just wonder if you would use some signal strength with this procedure.
@amadzarak77466 ай бұрын
Assuming you meant lose signal then yes. The amount of signal degredation is called egrade. Using that value will help u determine the right splitter

you did not walk about grounding of the unit, that installation is incomplete

So 1 goes to modem and the other to the TV?
@Clxwbro9 ай бұрын
Allows you to split the signal to 2 different devices to connect, so yes. You can split it like towards your tv or modem

One question for anyone: what if I have a second TV in a separate room? How would this work?
@lukaspechar10 ай бұрын
Important to note that you should ground the splitter.

Okay are you saying that the cable that goes to the IN is the cable that comes from the antenna? You're not clear at all about what goes to the IN.
@alessandrolazo81394 ай бұрын
The cable that comes from the wall goes into the IN port. Then the rest of the cables go into the different devices you're trying to provide signal using the OUT ports . Hope this helps

This does not even scratch the surface of how to properly split a signal without losing signal gain downstream on your “quacksyul” cable.
