Tip for once ur done installing the intake do NOT rev the car for 5-10 minutes as some or most cars process how much air is being taken in. Leave the car turned on and wait till the cars done adjusting to the new intake

Pretty quick meaning almost instantaneously. It doesn't take the car's computer 5 to 10 minutes to register that it has a new air filter the mass air flow sensor was only unplugged never changed. But then again newer cars are kind of weird and finicky with stuff like that so you may be correct. Lol

Make sure to get an ECU tune before you hit the road!! Do not get the wrong oxygen-petrol ratio. That can seriously damage modern engines! Some have the oxygen sensor extension. And some have "innovative airflow systems" like Dragon R. But they seemed to do a great job! Just please get an ECU tune. :)

It’s a governor, there’s a governor and a speed limiter, your governor will control (govern) your rpm while stopped, your speed limiter will stop the car at a certain speed, the reason you can’t rev past 2500 rpm is because you have a governor blocking that vehicle from blowing itself up essentially

Check under your bash board, it could be a blown fuse. On some cars they have a limit to much much they can rev without the computer registering it. For some cars it's 4k and for some it's 2. I had to do research because I had a floating valve and that was one of the solutions I found to your problem

better to just connect a small hose to your inside ac cabin vents to suck REAL cold air into your engine air intake into the air filter box. For a TRUE COLD air intake system...atleast if your AC works and you have your ac on. just have to have a electronic cut off if you have the heat on in the vehicle.

Check you camshaft position sensor that causes irregular rpms and lack of acceleration I had the same issue with the same car I replaced the camshaft sensor and that car was a beast.

i installed one on my 03 rav4 2.0 petrol engine. and it tripped a code of system too lean, my car would accelerate very bad, the long term fuel trim got up to +30%. I would definetley not reccoment installing one unless you tune the ecu!

Either theirs oil on the belts… id use gojo wipes to clean that off or the belts aren’t tight enough which is an easy fix you just need to tighten it with a wrench.. that may be where the questing is from or it may be the steering fluid which is most likely not the case….
