Can it be used to hold the door open all the time?
@thebuildinginvestor84272 ай бұрын
Some of them may have a lock setting or a sleeve you can slide over the arms but the only way I know how to lock this one open is to turn the setting screws all the way closed.

Dimension B opening: which one is 6 3/4 or 7 3/4? Need to clarify that...

Thank you for doing this. One question, does it matter if the closure is installed with the BC Valve and speed valves reverse? I notice this after I finished.

I’m not quite sure what you mean but if your door is working like it should, it is fine.? :)

@@thebuildinginvestor8427 Thanks for the prompt reply. Video very helpful. The door opens perfect, however, when its returning back to close, it stay open 6 inches. It does not close all the way. Have a nice Sunday.

from my experience it sounds like one of your adjustments screws is to tight unless your shock arm is set to close. But best of luck with your project. :)

This was the only actual helpful video I could find. You just missed the part where a person may need to turn the bottom nut a quarter turn to put the arm on.
