How To Install A Flow Designs Rear Diffuser On Your 2020 WRX

Last piece of the splitter kit goes on! Had to do a few modifications to get it to fit the way I wanted but it was so worth it!

Yes sir it’s just right in my opinion plus it opens the door for me to lower the car a little and still be able to get into my drive way😅

Super clean! I like how it’s mounted to the body with those brackets to make the kit modular. I bet they’ll have different styles available and they’ll be easy to swap. Nice work as always, man!

Loving how these look but I feel like there's a problem with the precision of the parts. I had the same issue with the rounded end of the metal brackets, and the plastic bracket in the rear didn't line up correctly when I used the template - the instructions say to line up with the OEM holes, but that put the drill holes too shallow towards the edge of the face. Once I had it lined up correctly to fit, the metal brackets on mine didn't allow for the diffuser to actually be adjustable with the fins on...even fully extended, the inside fins just barely rub against my stock diffuser. The front lip also juts into the corner where the mud guards and bumper meet up. By the way - for anyone looking to take the rear bumper face off in the future, it's easier if you take the tail lights out. Not much extra work and will alleviate a *little* stress about breaking bumper clips.

Good info and good to know. For me I wasn't sure if there was just a change in production of the 2020 wrx because there is always something slightly different when I do my installs there is always different set up or extra things in the way.

I do have some other plans for those but that sounds like an interesting idea! Damn I appreciate that idea and will honestly look into that cause it ma fit into what I got planned for the spats!🤔
