How to install a gas torch | Safety Tips |

Gas torch or blowtorch are commonly used in our daily applications. It is light weight, portable and ready to use. On the other side, butane gas cartridges are used in many portable gas stoves. For safety purpose, keep the cartridges stored in a cool area, away from exposure to intense heat and flame.
It is important to use safety googles, hand gloves & other personal protection equipment if necessary during operation.

I've now tried to connect two different torches to 2 different gas bottles and neither will connect. You failed to mention the lever which has to be rotated to make the seal. I've tried turning mine, but the fitting doesn't appear to clear the metal flange on the bottle. I get a hiss as the torch opens the valve on the bottle, but no matter how hard I push, that lever won't turn. There are no instructions on either the torch manual or the bottle. Any ideas please?

I wont work and its hard to attach i pressed hard and the butane broke the gas escape and i throw it on my backyard

Skill issue. Or different type of connection than it should be, so of course tgey dont mesh together. Probably even when the connection lools similar, different brands could have they made a little differently

What's the name of that type of canister? Did the torch come with the flat thing on top of the canister or the canister came like that? I have a torch like that but I can't find canisters (online) with that type of top

I am not sure the name of the type of canister. The flat ring comes with the butane gas cartridge. Where are you from?

I think that's another type. Once screwed, you have to use it till finish. Correct?
