How to install a gear reduction in a Polaris RZR | 2019 Turbo XP4

How to install a gear reduction in a Polaris RZR. Its much easier than you may think. The gear reduction will help keep belts from slipping on technical trails and going slow. Hill climbing my RZR with the gear reduction is better too. Changing the transmission gears in a Polaris RZR Turbo helped with pulling the 35 in tires. It crawls so good now. If you plan on doing any crawling or rough trails I would highly suggest getting a gear reduction for your RZR. RZR gear reduction install should be one of the first things you do.
If you start with a 4 seater like mine this gear reduction will give you 13% reduction in High and around 52% reduction in low. I know it seems like a lot but you can see in the video that it still runs over 30mph in low.

Great idea with the extension! But just a heads up for future references, always try and pump grease in the the primary hole before inserting the clutch pulling tool and it’s always a good idea to instal the inner cover from bolts starting towards the front of the machine and working your way to the rear torquing the hex bolts to 37 ft# then the rest to 50 ft#, also never unbolt the rear trans isolator, the shafts for the motor and trans should be 10 and 1/2” center to center

Where does the 4th gear go? I saw you replace 2 gears and that shaft with the mid gear on it, so 3 total

@@GrimRZR I'm thinking the same but have a 2021 xp 4 1000. I know I can do the work but just want to gear down the low end as far as I can go and keep the high at only about 12% reduction. Confused on what to get. 🤔 I see alot of comments for turbos, not alot for 1000 xps. I've also heard the 1000xp is already geared down a little. Any help. Is appreciated.
