A close-up of the fastener stack-up and foam installed on the fairing would be helpful, the foam completely covered the two outboard mount points and all three forward mount points on my 2013 FLTRU have raised sections like the center hole in the video, I just cut around them the way you bypassed the center, hope that's correct. Also, foam tape you sent me with the GT I bought May 2024 was "double backed", I considered it was an improvement, though may have been a mistake and should be included in the video if correct. All in all, LOVE THE WINDSHIELD. THANKS!!!

Do you have a different shield for the new 2017 Road Glide Special. I notice in your demo video that you are using 5 screws to secure the shield to the fairing. The new Road Glide Special only has 4 screws securing it.

A couple of comments having installed clearview, stock, Klock and Windvest. IMO #1 Prettiest shield (Klock) Shield has a dramatic curve BUT the materials are lighter weight than the Clearview and Windiest. The result has been they consistently crack @ the mounting points after 1-2 years. #2 Highest quality construction (Clearview). They are a great looking shield, outstanding fit and finish and significantly heavier than the Klock. Windvest is also beefy but a bit blocky in appearance . At the end of the day if you have a chance to actually handle a clearview shield while in the company of either Klock or Stock shield you will be hard pressed to ignore the fantastic fit and finish, In the video a passing comment is made about "they don't vibrate". That is not a small detail. I found the Klock would squeak and torque on a Roadglide creating phantom noises and ultimately, as stated before, begin to crack. Clear view does take longer to get assuming you can't find one in the seconds rack when available but if your looking to replace it and not replace it again I would suggest you go with clear view It is another small detail but the mounting hardware (well nuts) on the clearview are SIGNIFICANTLY better than any other brand I tried. Again, not a small detail on a Road Glide where a poor well nut will have you removing the fairing to retrieve it after if falls inside the cowling.
