The rubber wall seal is no longer included. Does that mean it isn't necessary?

Really really hope you can help. The plumber I used didn’t have the green part in deep enough. The screw holes will literally be flush with the tile. Do you think I will be able to mount the cover flush still? Thank you so much for any advice.

This product is fundamentally flawed. When you turn it 'off', you actually have not. All that you have done is turn off the feed to the shower head. The hot water pipe and cold water pipe are actually in contact with each other still. Still 'live'. So the system relies on both being at equal pressure.

This is just the box, maybe you're referring to some actual control panel, but you're commenting on the wrong video if it's true, this is just 4 pipe ends into a plastic box.
