Thanks for sharing ! I agree that it enhances the look of the bike 100%... I (the dealer) installed the Screaming Eagle Heavy Duty (?) Heavy Breather Extreme Air intake because I had decided to dealer install the Screamin Eagle Stage II Cam & cam plate on my 2023 Road Glide 3 !!! before I even left the showroom floor and Cobra exhausts ... It was tuned with HD Screaming Eagle Tuner. It runs and soundz REAL good !!!... much faster than any sane 75 year old should ride ... but what could go wrong when you are on 3 three wheels .... right?!

Good Video Ryan! I just installed the Ventilator Extreme air cleaner on my 2017 Ultra Limited 107ci M8. The installation for the Ventilator Extreme is a little less complicated than your Heavy Breather Extreme due to the configuration. It really allows a ton of air flow, which is exactly what I was looking for. I also decided to purchase a 2nd filter element for mine, as I read some reviews indicating that the filter can blow oil onto your saddlebag immediately after servicing. I plan on servicing the element and placing it in the sun for a day and then storing it in a zip lock bag until the next change. This way I will always have a clean filter ready to go. Congratulations on the new bike, I really like what Harley has done with the 24s and hopefully they will get the software issues figured out on the digital dash system very soon. Ride safe brother!!!

Hi Ryan, great video, very clear, thanks. I bought my new 2024 Street Glide about 3 months ago and I also made the decision to change the stock filter with this Heavy Breather. The mechanic at HD garage told me that it was not necessary to change anything on the factory setting, that the bike adapts to this new filter by itself as it is. Unless you said so in your video and I missed the part, what do you think? with your experience with this new filter, have you changed an ECM setting? Your recommendations would be welcome, thanks. PS: can you also send me a couple of side pictures of your bike with this new filter please?

@@jean-louismarchand5311 That would be a surprise to me. I was always of the belief that a new air filter would require a tune. Interesting if true.

Hey Ryan is there any EPA hose’s going back into fuel system behind the air cleaner such as the throttle body or intake manifold. I don’t see the two hoses that they had before in front. By the way, Thanks brother for sharing your videos!

The crankcase venting is now done solely through the transmission cover. Goes through an oil separator and out the top of the cover. Runs up and over the rear cylinder and into the back of the air cleaner. Should be a much better setup with very little if any oil making its way into the intake.

You buy a Whiskey Fire with chrome. Are you changing the chrome for black. If so, you should of bought a Whiskey Fire with black chrome.

That 90 degree bend is going to restrict your air flow. Most every dyno tuner will confirm 90 degree bends hinder air flow and rob you of performance. Looks great though.

True. I had the heavy air on bike from factory. I had the BA fueling breather installed. Even the dealer said it was 10 times better than the harley heavy

Man that stock air cleaner setup looks god awful. Upgraded air cleaner is necessary. Hope you get around to installing an external breather system to make that big engine run even stronger and last longer!

Should have at least let the original air filter get a little dirty before you took it off.
