I love my Cable Clutch. I had a 2009 Road Glide with Cable Clutch. I refused to get a new one until 2021 when Harley-Davidson brought back the Cable, ditching the Hydraulic Clutch. The dealers even offered a great deal on a 2020 when I bought my 2021.

I've had 4 Harley's since 1998 and I currently have one with a hydraulic clutch and one without. I prefer the cable feel and I am convinced that it has a wider friction zone and is easier to pull than the hydraulic one. JMO

Ryan I totally agree I had a 2014 for 7 years and had no issues and loved my hydraulic clutch. I bought a 2021 street glide special and hated the cable clutch and almost got rid of it. That red button will eventually fail and has no adjustment. I had several friends get stranded. I put the fat bagger replacement on and now I have peace of mind and have the right adjustment I can live with. By all means everybody should do this mod or risk being in the middle of nowhere and have a clutch failure. Easy to do and well worth it.

Took me about twenty minutes to install and about half hour of driving around the neighborhood and tuning.. solid work Compadre 🇺🇸

Replaced the OEM adjuster on my 21 Tri Glide and it was little tough chipping away to remove it. Not a lot of room when you have lowers. But finally got it removed. However when it came time to put the new adjuster on it didn't slide together very smoothly. The oem threaded stud inner collar had to be filed down just a bit. Didn't take much. Could be the dimensions on the 21's are little off. The oem plastic adjuster never did adjust too well. The new Fat Baggers adjuster was well worth it and the video was very helpful especially for a senior rider like myself. Purchased the new product along with the seat screw ( Ric Rac ) and received the order very fast.

I had the yellow tube fail on my 24. I replaced it with the EZ Install Black Vinyl Upper Clutch Cable 108000-B, the clutch pull feels better and it has an adjuster at the top which lets you dial it in on the fly. The metal on metal assembly gives me peace of mind. Id highly recommend it

The clutch on my 2023 low rider s failed the other night as I pulled into a garage, turns out the red plastic clip had slipped out (not broken thankfully) - clipped it back in and I was away again - but if it had broken would have been a mare. I've ordered one of these from Revzilla who post to the UK - crazy that you have to do something like this to a new expensive bike but I just don't trust that flimsy plastic clip at all. Great video btw, will be very helpful when I fit the part - cheers.

This is Ryans opinion. You do not actually "need" this. It does make fine tuning clutch handle adjustment a bit easier. But I ride everyday and Ive never "needed" this. Using the factory adjuster, u can vary the distance u push down on the spring to adjust the handle slack. Push all the way together=more slack at handle. Push spring in a little=less slack at handle. Its quite simple.

Maaan HARD disagree that the hydro system is better. You get way more friction zone and adjustability out of a cable clutch. I hate doing slowspeed stuff on a hydraulic clutch bike. It's so much easier to do with a cable clutch. I would have cable clutch on every bike ever if I could. CFMoto has cable clutch feel on their bikes that's like the Harley clutch and its SO NICE. I love the feel of a cable clutch. Hydro feels like an almost on off switch and it feels clunky.

Hydraulic clutches fail too and there is no limp home trick for them. A cable clutch can (as I and many others have done on the road) be made useble in an emergency by shortening the sheath by cutting then using visegrips to pull on the cable. (Those really serious can carry a cable saver or make one depending on your lever side cable end.) Cables rarely fail without losing a few strands first so inspection (pull lever, apply eyeball) matters. I've been wrenching multiple brands since the 1970s and am comfortable wrenching anything from combat aircraft down. I greatly prefer cables and have done gobs of shop work fixing customer hydraulic clutches which are very easily killed by sitting (after which the piston seals cease to seal.)
