@@ashleykelly5446 yes it can , it has a lever inbetween the door as seen on this video 🙂

@@murphydoordo you mean the lever on the side of the door that pulls up the cable? As there is no other lever I see in this video. Murphy doors I've designed and installed appear as regular doors from the other side. There is no gap to slide your hand inbetween the door and liner to use the side lever shown in the video. They require another door handle or knob with a lever connected to the same latch cable.
