How To Install A Mugen Wing On A Civic Type R EP3!! 4K

The back of the Honda Civic Type R is a little lacklustre with the OEM wing. The Mugen Spoiler is a great addition that gives the car a far more aggressive look.

The Mugen rear wing for the Type R EP3 is a must do modification for this car. A genuine Mugen Rear Wing can no longer be purchased new so various companies have created replica versions to buy. In this case, Seibon has created a full carbon fibre option that truly compliments the Cosmic Grey colour from Honda.
The fittings you will require if you want to replace the OEM Hardware are M6 X 16mm bolts.

Maybe you should put some foam around the edge of the spoiler and some rubber pads. To stop any dirt or water going in, also will help reduce vibration and any rattle noises.

That looks really great with all of the carbon bits :D I would just install brake light from normal EP for safety sake, they are under the rear glass and use the same connector so its p&p Really disorienting to drive behind someone without 3rd brake light imo

I had FRP 4kg and full carbon 4.9kg mugen replica rear wing, but never put them on because they are heavier than oem rear wing 3.2kg. Hence I order vacuum infusion carbon mugen style with oem rear taillight (including all mounting and screws) 2.2kg, bigger wing and shave 1kg off from OEM. win win!

I think it looks better now. Never liked that much the previous one, because it makes the car taller to my eyes. I like cars really low so that might be why I never liked it. Never seen one in person so don't know how if my opinion would change On a personal note: the price of that wing... ouch... double congrats on getting it 😂😂

I did like how much more aggressive it looked but I also like how this one sits too. Just a different vibe! Could be better on fuel for those long journeys too! Haha Yeah, it is a pricey one brand new! That is pretty similar to the retail price of the Genuine Mugen one when it was available from new
