Mate, there is a place in heaven for you, wasted half a day on this and then found your video. Job done. For those that go to Bunnings, the top rubber is called Pipe ring The bottom one is Cone.

Thanks for letting us know what the top rubber is called 🙏 I couldn’t quite catch it in the video. I’m going to replace both while I’m at it.

I am so grateful to you. On an Aged Pension living alone was a big problem. Nearly 80yrs my hands were not strong enough to get the pipe through the hole. I put it into boiling water and also used detergent. Wow got the damn thing through. I can't believe I fixed the leak. I followed your Video and without you I could not have done it. I am eternally grateful to you. thank you so much.

Ta mate, after 25 minutes of intensive searching this is the only video or info I can find on this seal! I didn't even know what it was called (talking about the cone seal). My toilet has it and is about 30 yrs old, all other more modern toilets don't have this it seems. Glad you left the "Fix-a-loo" tag on it! Now I can do a search for that. And good advice to also change the other one under the other end nut. Good video showing how to install it by turning it back on itself. Thanks again.
