Thinking of purchasing the 300 but I see a lot of videos that show when you raise the motor it turns to one side and can break the plastic steering arm. Has this been resolved or do you have any ideas on how to help with this? Thanks

Can you keep this motor locked in forward position and steer the kayak with the included rudder and handle that comes with the titan ?

The digital motor controller on the NK motors have built in circuit protection. This protects the motors from overcurrent and overheating conditions as well ad others as described in the instruction manual in the troubleshooting section.
