How To install a Polini Variator on a Yamaha C3 Scooter

The stock Torque spring has better performance than the Blue spring ( too stiff) IMO. Also, The green clutch springs are ok but not really a big difference. I think getting some Dr Pulley 4.5 gram weights and the Variator is all you really need..

It’s definitely quicker. I haven’t taken it on a proper road yet but it easily hit 35 with me on it before I had to let off. Before it took forever to even hit 30 with me on it. Going to do some testing with clutch springs, acceleration and top speed when it warms up a little. I’ll post a video when we test it.

Hey wondering cuz I have a c 3 scooter an my oil smells like gas may have got in there .was wondering if you may happen to know how that may accure? Any info would be appreciated.

Possibly float heights need adjusted or needle could be stuck allowing fuel to continuously flow would be my guesses.

i have the same kit, but i leave the blue spring out, because it run not good with it

Did you put the green clutch springs in?
