I just put mine on. Doing a test ride tomorrow first thing hopefully. Next up is the 70cc cylinder. BIgger pipe's been on for a while.

Did you see a good increase in top speed? Thinking of getting one too... just haven't pulled the trigger yet!

@@OliveSauce100 ok so clutch mod did not increase top speed. As for the cylinder.... Biggest gain was in hill climb. My "toughest hill" on my typical route used to bog ol' Humphrey down to 35km/hr, with the new cylinder it still cracks him down to 50 km/hr, but the average speed gains across the board have spoken for themselves. You'll be able to get _almost_ the same top speed without the cylinder change, honestly! With my 50 all tuned-up I was hitting 72 as my top, now it's only 76-80 depending on conditions. It's about how you get there: average speed gain over a whole trip was about 20 km/hr up to hitting the limits of traffic & road conditions. I would definitely recommend the full big bore upgrade to anyone who is of, shall we say, more adult proportions. (Stumpy-looking peoplpe like me will see the benefits straight away). Brace yourself though, it's been over 100 days and the ministry of transport still hasn't decided how to classify the 70cc scoot.

@@mattphilip3266 Awesome stuff! Thanks for the thorough breakdown. I'm thinking of skipping the cylinder kit, since I am planning to get a SMAX down the road. I was just thinking of a quick bolt on that won't affect it's resale value and reliability etc... I currently can get my '09 2T to 65km/h @ 208 lbs with 7.5g weights... which is already pretty decent. Hard to justify the $150 + for a very small increase in top speed.

@@OliveSauce100 If I were not doing the cylinder upgrade I would do the following: Exhaust upgrade/de-restrict (it's legal most places to de-restrict the stock exhausts, that are limited for Italy/France/California), tune weights & clutch springs to rider, rejet carb (I never did it properly at first and regret it), more aerodynamic mirrors (hi-speed shake reduction), and most important: upgrade cooling fan!! Most of those barely adjust the top speed, but if you do all that right, you'll have a better, smoother, and even quieter ride. I'm told by buddies I should also have adjusted the suspension early on, but I am slightly skeptical. I would advise sticking with stock tires.

@@mattphilip3266you need gears to see a difference in speed as well as a different carb. The stock zuma carb needs butterfly mod if you want to keep it. Better to just go 19mm carb off the bat with a single cable

@@OliveSauce100 you need a better carb or jet your carb in order to work decently with the exhaust and high speed kit

What kind of pipe did you have and is it jetted

I’d use the green clutch springs from molossi with the 70cc kit and pipe
